Every blockchain interaction you make on Rarible - like minting, buying, or selling - will generate a transaction hash (tx). This is a unique ID that lets you track your activity on the blockchain.
Occasionally, if you contact our support team, we'll ask you to retrieve a transaction hash. So, here's how to find it:
From your Wallet
Note: Here we've used MetaMask as an example, but the process should be similar in all wallets.
- Open your wallet
- Navigate to the "Activity" or "Transactions" tab
- Open up the transaction you're interested in
- Click "View on block explorer", or the equivalent action in your wallet
Note: MetaMask offers the option to copy the tx hash directly from this screen, as underlined above - Copy the transaction hash using the copy button on the right hand side of the hash
- The tx hash is now on your clipboard, and can be pasted into anywhere you need it
From your Rarible Profile
- Visit Rarible.com and connect your wallet.
- Click the profile icon in the top right corner.
- Select "My Activity" from the profile dropdown.
- Then from the Activity page, select "My Activity" on the navigation bar.
- Use the redirect icon to open the relevant transaction on the blockchain explorer, we've highlighted it in the image below.
- Copy the transaction hash using the copy button om the right hand side.
- The hash is now on your clipboard, ready to be pasted into wherever you may need it.
Using a Blockchain Explorer
If you know your wallet address, and the blockchain the transaction you're interested in was performed on (Ethereum, Polygon, Abstract, etc):
- Visit the appropriate explorer for the blockchain your transaction is on:
- Ethereum: etherscan.io
- Polygon: polygonscan.com
- Abstract: abscan.org
- and so on, here we've used Etherscan as an example
- Enter your wallet address in the search bar
- Browse recent transactions and find the one you're interested in
- Click on any transaction to view its hash, and copy it using the icon on the right
