The Rarible Swap is a feature on the Rarible NFT marketplace that allows users to instantly exchange, bridge and transfer tokens across different blockchains.
It is powered by Relay Protocol, an intent-based cross-chain system that uses relayers to quickly execute swaps and bridges by fronting liquidity and performing actions on behalf of users, aggregating the best prices from various DEXs and protocols while minimizing gas costs and delays.
This integration enables seamless, fast, and efficient multichain token swaps directly within Rarible's platform.
How to use it
Step 1: Access Rarible Swap and Connect Your Wallet
Navigate to the Rarible Swap interface on rarible.com. In the top-right corner, click the Login button to connect your preferred wallet.
Step 2: Select the Source Token
Once your wallet is connected, click the Select Token button to choose the token you wish to swap, bridge, or transfer.
A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to select the blockchain and specific token.
For this example, select the Ethereum network and the native ETH token.
Alternatively, you may manually enter a token contract address in the search bar. The token will appear if liquidity is available via the Relay Protocol.
After selection, the token will be displayed in the swap interface.
Step 3: Specify the Recipient Wallet Address
By default, the recipient address is set to your currently connected wallet. To send funds to a different address, click the address field.
A pop-up will appear prompting you to enter the desired recipient wallet address. Input the address and click Save.
The updated address will now be reflected in the Rarible Swap interface.
Step 4: Select the Destination Chain and Token
Click the Select Token button on the destination side of the interface.
In the pop-up, choose the target blockchain and token. For this example, select the RARI Chain as the destination network (the token will typically remain ETH or its equivalent on the target chain).
Step 5: Enter the Amount and Execute the Transaction
Input the desired amount of tokens to bridge and transfer. For testing purposes, a minimal amount is recommended.
The protocol will automatically calculate the exchange rate (if applicable) and display the estimated receipt amount.
Review the details, then click the Swap button.
Your wallet will prompt you to confirm the transaction. Approve the confirmation to initiate the process.
Step 6: Monitor and Verify the Transaction
The transaction will process on-chain. Confirmation typically takes a few seconds, though in rare cases it may take several minutes.
Once complete, a pop-up will appear with links to view the transaction hashes on the relevant block explorers for verification.
The bridged and transferred funds should now be available in the recipient wallet on the destination chain.
Click “Done” when finished.
