This guide provides step-by-step instructions for transferring your Boss Beauties x Barbie NFTs from your Virtual Mattel account to a self-custodied Flow wallet using the Mattel Transfer Bridge.

Step 1: Access the Mattel Transfer Bridge
- Visit https://transfer.mattel.com/
- Log in using your Virtual Mattel account credentials.
If you encounter issues logging in or the page indicates the service is closed, refer to the official Mattel support resources.
Step 2: Connect Your Flow Wallet
- Once logged in, follow the on-screen instructions.
- Download and install the Flow wallet browser extension (if not already installed).
- Click the “Link Flow Wallet” button and connect your wallet.
After connecting, you will be directed to the transfer selection page.
Step 3: Select NFTs for Transfer
- From the dropdown menu, select the Boss Beauties x Barbie collection.
- Choose the specific NFTs you wish to transfer.
Recommendation:
- The maximum number of NFTs per transfer is 100.
- For larger collections, transfer in smaller batches (e.g., 25 NFTs at a time, or fewer if needed) to minimize potential issues.
Step 4: Initiate the Transfer
- Click the “Transfer” button.
- In the confirmation pop-up, click “Approve.”
- If prompted, approve the transaction in your Flow wallet.
- The first approval per collection may require manual confirmation.
- Subsequent transfers from the same collection should process automatically.

Troubleshooting Transfer Failures
Transfer failures are often due to insufficient FLOW tokens for gas fees or storage requirements. Common error codes include (S-00058) and (S-00104).
Possible causes:
- Insufficient FLOW in your destination Flow wallet.
- Insufficient FLOW in your Virtual Mattel wallet.
- A combination of both.
Flow wallets typically require additional FLOW for storage after holding approximately 75 virtual collectibles.
How to Add FLOW to Your Wallets
Following a security incident on the Flow network around December 27, 2025, many exchanges paused FLOW deposits and withdrawals. Availability may vary.
- As of January 2026, check current exchange statuses, as restrictions may still apply.
- One option is Kraken, withdrawals are enabled there and that is CONFIRMED:
Purchase FLOW at https://pro.kraken.com/app/trade/flow-usd and withdraw to your wallets. - A small amount (e.g., 1–5 FLOW) in each wallet is usually sufficient, noting any minimum withdrawal requirements.

- Log out of the Transfer Bridge.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies.
