You may find yourself in a situation where you need or want to transfer ownership of a collection to a different wallet address. If your wallet has been compromised, it's best to ensure that you have access to your collection as soon as possible.
Note: Before getting started, see which blockchain your collection is on:
EVM | Non-EVM |
Ethereum Polygon RARI Chain Immutable X zkSync Era Base Astar zkEvm Kroma Celo Moonbeam Etherlink Lisk Palm Aleph Zero Eclipse |
Aptos Flow |
Follow these steps if your collection is on an EVM Blockchain
Note: This is an example of a collection on Ethereum
1. Go on to the collection on Rarible.com and copy the collection's wallet address.
2. On Etherscan (Ethereum's blockchain explorer), enter the collection's wallet address in the search bar.
Note: The blockchain explorer that you use will depend on which blockchain the collection is on.
3. Click on "Contract" and then "Write Contract."
Note: Only the owner of the collection can perform the transferring of a collection (smart contract) so you'll need to be logged in to your blockchain's explorer and the collection will need to be verified to your profile.
4. Under step 17 (transferOwnership), enter the wallet address that you want to transfer the collection to in the newOwner (address) field.
5. Click on "Write."
6. Confirm and sign the changes in your wallet.
7. Now that you've changed the ownership address on your blockchain's explorer, contact our support team through the link below so we can approve the change on Rarible.com:
