What should I do if my profile isn't loading?

If your profile isn't loading, fixing it is usually quite easy.

There are a few ways to try to solve this issue:

- Disconnecting and reconnecting your wallet

- Adjust your browser or device

- Ensure you're using the correct wallet and extension

- Internet connectivity issues

- Server maintenance or downtime

Disconnecting and Reconnecting Your Wallet:

Through Rarible Itself

1. Click on your profile and disconnect your wallet from Rarible by clicking on the "Power" icon.

2. Reconnect your wallet to Rarible through the "Connect wallet" button. Follow the usual process when connecting a wallet to Rarible.

Through Your Wallet Provider

1. On your wallet provider's extension, click on the "Connected sites" button.

2. Click on "Disconnect."

3. Confirm that you want to disconnect your wallet from Rarible by clicking on "Disconnect."

4. Your wallet will no longer be connected to Rarible.

5. Return to Rarible and re-connect your wallet by selecting "Connect wallet."

Adjust Your Browser or Device:

1. Perform a hard refresh of Rarible to try update the connection between your wallet and Rarible.

2. If your browser or device is not up-to-date, your browser might not load your profile because it's using an outdated script or an old version of Rarible.

Try to update your browser or use a different browser.

3. Try to clear your cache. You can clear the data that is only associated to Rarible by using the "inspecting" tool in the Developer tab of browsers.

Note: You might need to search the web to discover how to clear the local storage of your specific device or browser.

Ensure You're Using the Correct Wallet and Extension:

1. View your active browser extensions.

Note: To try eliminate this issue in the future, you can pin your wallet extensions so you're able to identify which wallet you are using.

2. Click on the globe icon on the top of your wallet provider's extension of browser.

3. Look at the connection and active statuses of your wallets.

For example, the image below shows that account 1 is active on Rarible and account 2 isn't. If the bottom wallet is the wallet that you want to use on Rarible, your profile will currently appear differently on Rarible because the wrong wallet is connected.

4. Click on the three vertical dots on the right-hand side of the current, active wallet and then select "Disconnect this account."

5. Click on "Switch to this account" on the wallet you'd like to connect to.

6. Your selected wallet will now be active and connected.

7. Go on to Rarible and re-connect and sign in to Rarible with your active wallet.

Internet Connectivity Issues:

You may be experiencing connection issues.

To troubleshoot this, check if other websites are loading properly. If other websites don't load either, ensure that your device is connected to a stable and reliable internet source. 

Server Maintenance or Downtime:

Rarible's servers may occasionally experience "downtime" due to maintenance or technical difficulties. If the issue is on our end, please bear with us. We try our best to resolve any form of issue within a few hours.
